I asked my target audience (Teenagers/females) to give me some feedback on my music magazine cover, this is what they said:
Feedback 1
Positive: I was told by my target audience that the masthead is eye catching due to it being different. The font isn't very conventional and isn't seen often but I decided to use it which had a positive effect on the magazine.
Negative: I was told that a lot of grey has been used on my cover. This could make the cover un-appealing to the audience as there isn't anything that stands out a lot on the cover.
Feedback 2
Positive: I have used only one image on my cover which is conventional of music magazines and was recommend by my target audience. It is good that I've only used one image as it makes Emmah stand out more, allowing the audience to know she's the main focus of this magazine.
Negative: My target audience told me that the subheadings on the left hand side of the page are too small and hard to read as they're on top of the models hair.
Feedback 3
Positive: My peers/target audience told me that it's good that my layout is clear and easy to see everything without being cluttered. This is eye catching for the audience and is atheistically pleasing.
Negative: This person I questioned told me that there wasn't anything else they could find negative about my cover.
