Main Task: Magazine Inspiration

 

 

I have used this magazine to take inspiration from for my own pop music magazine. This picture shows the idea of using a quote on the page. I have taken inspiration from this and used a quote. I have used this on my double page spread.

 

From the same magazine, I have taken inspiration from this by including lines between each question to separate them. This makes the page look neater and I've used this on my double page spread. I have also took inspiration from this picture by numbering my questions. This again has been used on my double page spread.

I asked my target audience (Teenagers/females) to give me some feedback on my music magazine contents page, this is what they said:

 

Feedback 1:

 

Positive: The layout used is conventional of a typical music magazine, it's clear and easy for the reader to navigate through.

Negative: There's a lot of 'dead space' on the page, especially on the page with the article.  

 

Feedback 2:

 

Positive: The photo is well cut out around the image making it look professional. Also the image is good quality again adding to the magazine looking professional.

Negative: There isn't a lot of colour used on the DPS, making it look bland and not very interesting. Also it's hard to see the difference between the question and the answer, and colours would of made it easy to tell the two apart.
